I confess my sister Julie was blessed with the ability to write. This blog is going to help show my process and progress in visual art, not my skills in writing, however if I'm lucky that will improve as well.
My twin sister Katie is a kindergarten teacher and the school she works at held an auction last week. I want to thank her for believing in me enough to put a future piece done by me in the auction. The highest bidder selected an image for me to paint of a lighthouse in Michigan. I was happy work on this piece today knowing the money raised went to a good cause. Well, and the subject is a little piece of home, how could I say no.
