I love this time of year in Michigan. Strawberry Season. Michigan strawberries are smaller but full of flavor, they really are the best. A favorite treat is toast and homemade strawberry jam.

This adorable dog just makes me thing whatever he is looking at is something he is truly happy about and in love with. Dogs have this amazing way of letting you know they are happy, their whole body reflects it. I had a pleasure capturing this pup’s personality.

While I was finishing up this golden portrait I heard the sad news that this beautiful dog has passed away. I hope that when it is given to it’s owner for Christmas it will be a special reminder of how wonderful it was to have this dog in their lives. I have not met this dog, but from staring at his photo and capturing this personality I can just tell it was a kind loving loyal Golden Retriever.
